We sincerely address our patients' needs beyond the evidence and work together to find the best reassuring treatment. Soon after Higashimori Clinic opened in Hirano Ward, Osaka City, we will approach our 100th anniversary. Despite changes in medical technology and society, our principle—"to be a trusted family doctor rooted in the community"—remains unchanged. My father, Toshihiro Higashimori (third generation), has long supported community healthcare, and his dedication serves as a major guide for me. As the fourth generation, I hope to inherit this commitment and provide healthcare suited to our time. Drawing on experience cultivated at university hospitals, regional core hospitals, and medical settings overseas, I aim to sincerely address each patient's individual needs and work together to find the best reassuring treatment. As an endoscopist, I focus on early detection of esophageal, gastric, and colorectal cancers, striving for examinations with minimal discomfort and careful diagnosis. I also provide home medical care and palliative care so that patients who have difficulty visiting our clinic can feel secure while spending time at home. Going forward, through community-based medicine and specialized care, we will continue to support the health and well-being of all our patients. Thank you for your trust.
