Higashimori Clinic, located in Hirano Ward, Osaka City, will soon celebrate 100 years since its founding. Even as medical technology and society change, our clinic's philosophy of being "a trusted family doctor rooted in the community" remains unchanged. My father, Toshihiro Higashimori, the third-generation director, has long supported community healthcare, and his approach serves as a major guide for me. As the fourth-generation director, I aim to carry on this spirit while providing medical care suited to the times. Drawing on experience gained at university hospitals, core regional hospitals, and medical settings overseas, I want to sincerely engage with "each patient's individual feelings" and work together to find the best treatment that you can receive with peace of mind. As an endoscopist, I focus on the early detection of esophageal, gastric, and colorectal cancers, striving to provide examinations with minimal discomfort and careful, attentive care. We also provide home medical care and palliative care so that patients who have difficulty visiting the clinic can spend time safely and comfortably at home.
